My journey of learning languages
Aside from being a native Hindi speaker with advanced ability in English, I also have a higher proficiency in French and Spanish.
From an early age, my fascination with languages ignited a deep curiosity that had never waned. I see language as a living entity, each with its unique melody, rhythm, and story.
As I delve into the intricacies of the language’s infinite characteristics, I am awed by the artistry and complexity woven into every sentence. It isn’t just about deciphering words; it’s about embracing the context they emerge from.
Learning different languages never really interested me until I started studying French at Alliance Française de Delhi.
I became passionate about learning new languages, which has changed my life. During my first job, I even studied Spanish and achieved higher proficiency.
Over time, I’ve studied a few different languages, like Japanese, German, Korean, and Italian. Even though I had a lot going on with work and personal stuff, I still found time for my hobbies and interests. Ultimately, passion helps you keep going despite difficulty and lack of time.
I teach Spanish and French at two universities in India, take corporate training, teach at Languagenext, and provide language career counseling. I have vast experience guiding, creating lesson plans, and teaching different subjects using various methods and educational approaches.

My experience with the Spanish language
Over a decade back, I thought it would be fun to learn some Spanish, thanks to the melodious tune of Enrique Iglesias.
As a result, I learned some Español!
Since then, I have been stuck with this mesmerizing language. I joined a few institutes and took the help of books, podcasts, audio and video lessons, and other materials to immerse myself in everything Spanish.
That’s how I created the tagline for this site, “An incredible world of Spanish.”
My Blogging Experience
You may feel confused and overwhelmed when studying a language from scratch. By blogging, I want to provide an outlet for diverse learning approaches, resources, and guidance that work best for you and make the entire process enjoyable.
My career in this field spans over 15 years.
In 2017 and 2018, I launched studyfrenchspanish.com and languagenext.com. The goal was to support and motivate people to learn various foreign languages!
I launched joyofkorean.com in 2021, followed by joyofchinese.com and joyofjapanese.com in 2022. And finally, joyofspanish.com and joyoffrench.com in 2023.
As the company’s sole owner with no profits, investments, or business partners, I am liable for every element of my website. While not a simple task, my professional language profession helped me support and take my sites to the next level.
Finally, with the traffic growth, various types of work, content, and technical complexity, I decided to outsource some of my responsibilities to skilled freelancers.
Achievement
When I began my blog, I only had a few hundred monthly visitors, but by 2023, it had grown to approximately 3 million page views.
Many renowned educational institutions and popular websites like Cervantes.es, Duolingo, Alliance Francaise, News24, iTalki, Femina, University of Delhi, University of Illinois, LanguageIndia, Leeds Beckett University, UND (University of North Dakota), Eurekly, St. Joseph’s College, Sejong Korean Institute – Inko Centre, AC, Activate Learning, Times Bridge, Interactio, etc. have cited or suggested my writings.
Many organizations have requested my expertise in foreign languages through interviews, debates, and perspectives.

I’ve received many requests from my readers to write about more Spanish-related topics.
Sometimes, more information was needed to answer specific questions fully. A few lines of answers weren’t enough and didn’t provide all the details. Unfortunately, I can’t write only Spanish-related information since the focus of those blogs and visitors’ aims are all languages.
So, I found a rational way to decipher all these. The result of the “Joy of Spanish.”
